St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic School strives to promote the education of the whole child - focusing on both learning with Catholic values and building a solid knowledge base. We encourage our school families to support their children in living their faith daily and understanding that education is a process that never ends.
We designed our Pre-K 4 curriculum to cultivate the knowledge base that began in our Pre-K-3 program. Through weekly themes, our Pre-K 4 students develop skills and continue learning with faith. Class experiences include gross and fine motor activities, exposure to math and science concepts, and a variety of opportunities to develop language, literacy, social, and emotional skills. Students also receive instruction in religion, Spanish, technology, music, and art as an integral part of their school experience. Physical movement, recess, and rest time are offered daily. In addition, our Pre-K 4 students participate in the weekly All-School Mass, other school events and programs, and the annual Christmas Program. Emphasis is placed on Kindergarten readiness.
