I have lived in Austin for the majority of my life and am proud to call Austin home. I have been married for 15 years and we have two children. Our son has attended St. Ignatius for the last seven and a half years (he is currently in the Fifth Grade) and our daughter is two years old. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Wellness Promotion with an emphasis on teaching health. I am certified to teach in several areas, including Early Childhood through Fourth grade, Middle School Social Studies, All-Level Physical Education, and Secondary Health Education. I am proud to say that I am on my way to completing my fifth year as a full-time teacher here at St. Ignatius. I began my St. Ignatius teaching career during the 2007-2008 school year, when I was a substitute teacher for all grade levels. I ended that school year as the 6th grade homeroom teacher, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then moved to teaching Pre-Kindergarten-Four during the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years here; and now I am proud to be teaching the Fourth Grade.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling with my family, especially to Hawaii; eating out, and working out.
